Position:
Lead Irrigation Technician The Lead Irrigation Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and commercial irrigation systems. This role includes leading field operations, mentoring team members, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Conserva standards. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair irrigation systems, including valves, sprinklers, controllers, wiring, and backflow devices Install new irrigation systems and retrofit existing systems with smart irrigation technology Program and troubleshoot smart controllers, including Hydrawise and other water-saving platforms Perform irrigation audits and efficiency evaluations Lead and train technicians while maintaining high workmanship standards Communicate with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and project updates Ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional irrigation experience required Strong knowledge of irrigation hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and controller programming Experience with smart irrigation technology preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to read irrigation plans and technical documents Backflow certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification Skills & Attributes Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Leadership experience and ability to work independently Excellent customer service and communication skills Organized and dependable Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Our Core Values Professionalism Innovation Responsibility If you're an experienced irrigation technician looking for an opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company, we'd love to hear from you.
