The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various irrigation methods, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance. As a seasonal Irrigation Technician, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems around the South Denver metro area. Your expertise will help conserve water, improve lawn aesthetics, and enhance the overall health of the landscapes we service. You will design and implement irrigation solutions that meet specific needs while adhering to environmental best practices. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues in irrigation systems and providing timely and effective solutions. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems, including drip, micro spray, MP Rotators, rotors, and standard spray heads. Conduct routine inspections and assessments of irrigation systems to identify leaks, malfunctions, or inefficiencies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water pressure, blockages, and system performance. Work with clients to design and implement customized irrigation plans that meet their specific needs and landscape requirements. Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Document all maintenance and repair work, including schedules, materials used, and parts replaced. Stay updated on industry trends, water conservation practices, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance in all installations and services. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in irrigation technology or a related field is preferred. Speaks English fluently, valid US citizen. Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or in a related role, with knowledge of various irrigation systems and components. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to effectively diagnose and address issues in irrigation systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet deadlines. Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in irrigation system installation and repair. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to travel to various job sites as needed. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor.
