Description:

Ability to perform a wide variety of irrigation maintenance functions related to but not limited to inspections, analysis, troubleshooting, repair, installation and basic design. Knowledge and/or willingness to learn aspects of water feature maintenance, including wiring and fixtures Maintain, attach and drive truck with snow plow Position available immediately Requirements of position: MUST have a clean driving record, valid driver's license/able to get on our insurance Flexibility is a must. Ability to work all days and hours of the week as needed, outside of normal M-F work week. Must be able to respond to irrigation emergencies and needs, as well as when it snows - we go Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to speak, read and write English; Spanish is a plus Ability to communicate and work with customers in a professional, friendly manner Maintain Professional appearance and attitude Ability to work alone and with a team Plan, organize and manage work as assigned; Complete daily paperwork and maintain accurate records. Comprehend and follow instructions, orally and written; Stay on task and follow daily schedule.; Ability to prioritize and multi-task Adhere to company policies, standards and safety guidelines Perform regular safety inspections and inventory of equipment, including company vehicle; Maintain all equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order at all times Responsible for company vehicle and Inventory and order supplies to ensure adequate materials are on hand to complete jobs Other job duties as assigned Willingness to work with maintenance and/or landscape crews as needed

Physical:

Ability to drive a vehicle from job to job Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body in order to work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, crawling and walking for extended periods of time Ability to reach over head with hands and arms; climb or balance Maintain physical fitness level necessary to complete assigned tasks Ability to work outside in all types of weather

Required Experience:

Must have 2+ years of experience or any equivalent combination of experience and education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved, with irrigation systems Must provide proof and/or demonstrate knowledge of: Controllers- scheduling, installation, troubleshooting and repair Backflow Prevention repair, assembly and installation Installation, troubleshooting and repair of valves, wiring, pumps/pump stations and nozzles Start-up and Winterization of irrigation systems Safely operate various hand tools and powered tools needed to perform tasks Attach and operate truck with snow plow Knowledge of drip systems Knowledge of water feature installation and maintenance a plus Basic knowledge of landscape and plant materials Ability to assess, troubleshoot and maintain irrigation systems to ensure safe, efficient and effective coverage Knowledge and experience driving a truck with a snow plow CLT Certification a plus
