Nursery Maintenance Technician EarthBalance is seeking a dependable, hands-on Nursery Maintenance Technician to support our three native plant nurseries with the main locations being in Nocatee. This position will travel between nursery locations and work under the direction of the Grower at each facility. We are looking for a self-starter who can identify what needs attention, prioritize tasks, work independently, and help direct nursery staff when additional assistance is needed. Responsibilities Maintain nursery grounds, including mowing, weed eating, trimming, and general cleanup Operate tractors and other equipment for spraying, mowing, and moving materials Assist with moving plants, soil, pallets, supplies, and other nursery materials Build and repair plant shelving, benches, racks, and other basic structures Perform minor repairs and general facility upkeep Assist with storm preparation, cleanup, and other nursery projects Coordinate with Growers and nursery staff to complete projects and daily maintenance needs Qualifications Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, nursery operations, agriculture, construction, or a similar field preferred Experience operating tractors and equipment preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools and performing basic repairs Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability to travel between all three nursery locations Ability to perform physical outdoor work in Florida weather conditions EarthBalance is a 100% employee-owned company that values Teamwork, Respect, and Excellence.
