Job description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform work on plants under manager's direction
• Follow detailed plan and timeline for plant production from clone to harvest
• Participate in trimming/de-leafing/pruning, bucking, fertilizing, harvesting, trimming, potting, moving and watering cannabis plants
• Assist Director of Cultivation and Head Grower in integrated pest management (IPM) operations
• Use cleaning products and apply beneficial organisms
• Properly document application of cleaning products
• Perform routine scouting of plant population for potential problems
• Manage and track cultivation waste
• Sanitize and clean work/grow area
• Document any and all activity in traceability forms Assist cultivation team in filling out all compliance and seed to sale tracking forms.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers
• Follow regulations and company guidelines for all compliance, workflows, and safety matters

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Must be 21 years old to apply and pass a Level 2 Background Screening. Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry. A flexible schedule is required due to the nature of the Seasonal/On-Call role. Excellent attendance is a must. Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing industry while maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to work in environments with varying hot/cold temperatures, humidity, and exposure to plant life. Able to stand, squat, bend, twist, kneel, reach and work with your hands for extended periods while performing tasks. Ability to lift and move cannabis products and equipment up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Preferred:

Previous experience in cannabis is beneficial. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Greenhouse/Nursery experience Background in Agriculture Landscaping experience This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
