Responsibilities Install new irrigation systems, including automated control systems, ensuring proper setup and calibration Conduct routine maintenance on existing irrigation equipment to optimize performance and prevent failures Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues such as leaks, electrical faults, and system malfunctions Perform excavation work for system installation or repair projects using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Diagnose electrical problems within irrigation systems through electrical diagnostics techniques Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into landscape designs Manage irrigation schedules and system operations to ensure efficient water use and healthy plant growth Conduct soil science assessments to determine appropriate watering needs for different landscape areas Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and addressing client concerns Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation equipment and related machinery Proven experience with new irrigation system installation projects from start to finish Knowledge of landscaping principles to support integrated landscape and irrigation solutions Ability to perform electrical diagnostics for troubleshooting complex system issues Skilled in excavation techniques using hand tools and power tools for underground piping or wiring work Familiarity with automated irrigation control systems for scheduling and remote management Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about system operation and maintenance Experience managing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water efficiency Knowledge of soil science principles relevant to irrigation planning and plant health Ability to identify, diagnose, and repair various irrigation system problems efficiently Join our team as an Irrigation Technician if you're passionate about creating beautiful landscapes through innovative irrigation solutions!
