Overview About the Course St. James Bay is an 18‑hole championship course located along Florida's Forgotten Coast. As an Audubon International Certified Sanctuary , we prioritize environmental stewardship, water quality, and wildlife protection while delivering excellent playing conditions for members, guests, and the local community. About the Role We are looking for a skilled Irrigation Technician to help maintain and improve the performance of our golf course irrigation system. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working outdoors, and keeping a complex system running smoothly. Experience Required Experience with golf course or commercial irrigation systems Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation components Basic electrical troubleshooting skills Comfortable working outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs Reliable, self‑motivated, and team‑focused Essential Responsibilities Inspect, repair, and maintain irrigation lines, heads, valves, and controllers Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues Perform routine system checks and adjustments Assist with mapping and documenting irrigation zones Collaborate with the Superintendent on water‑use efficiency Support general course maintenance when needed Benefits $18- $23 per hour based on experience Housing available Health insurance available PTO - Paid time off Supportive, professional team environment Stable, year‑round work
