Giraffe ranch Job Summary We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team full-time. This position involves caring for exotic animals, maintaining animal enclosures, and assisting with guest experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, can work independently, and is comfortable following established routines. Responsibilities Feed and care for a variety of exotic animals Clean and maintain animal pens, enclosures, and ranch grounds Follow daily feeding, cleaning, and care schedules Observe animals and report any health or behavioral concerns Lead animal feeding experiences for guests when scheduled Conduct educational ranch tours on occasion Assist with general ranch maintenance and upkeep Follow all safety procedures when working around animals and guests Qualifications Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable working around animals of various sizes and species Self-motivated and able to work independently Reliable, punctual, and responsible Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing manual labor Strong communication and customer service skills Previous animal care, farm, ranch, zoo, or outdoor labor experience is a plus, but not required Schedule Full-Time Must be available weekends and holidays as needed Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Benefits Opportunity to work closely with exotic animals Unique outdoor work environment Hands-on experience in animal care and ranch operations Apply Today If you enjoy working outdoors, caring for animals, and taking pride in a routine-driven work environment, we'd love to hear from you.
