JOB SUMMARY

Seven Lakes Golf & Tennis Community is an active, gated 55+ residential community located in Fort Myers, FL featuring an 18-hole executive golf course and a comprehensive Maintenance Department that ensures top-tier service and upkeep. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, service-minded professionals to join our team and contribute to the outstanding experience our residents enjoy every day. This full-time position of the Irrigation Technician reports to the Director of Golf Course Maintenance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and monitor all aspects of the Toro 2 wire golf course irrigation system. Adjust, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain all physical components of the golf course irrigation system and pumpstation. Work closely Director of Golf Course Maintenance in the scheduling of daily irrigation applications and golf course watering requirements. Record daily water use and maintain sufficient parts/supplies inventory. Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough on golf course. Set cups, tee place markers, maintain ball washer, and remove trash from golf course. Rake and maintain sand traps. Assists in special projects as necessary. Other related duties as required or requested.

EXPERIENCE

• Toro Two-wire One (1) year golf course irrigation preferred.

PHYSICAL / EMOTIONAL DEMANDS

Year-round outdoor labor. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically capable of shoveling, raking, bending, stooping. Must safely and efficiently operate large mowers, weed-eaters, chainsaws, etc.

Pay:

$22.00 per hour
