Position Title:
Farm Worker/Agricultural Equipment Operator Work Schedule:
Monday - Sunday 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Planting and cultivation: Perform land preparation for planting and land cleanup post harvest; plant seeds and seedlings, and manage soil nutrient levels.
Irrigation:
Maintenance and control of farm irrigation systems
Farm Maintenance:
Perform weeding pruning, and staking/ties to ensure healthy plant growth.
Pest and Disease Control:
Apply farm inputs, including chemicals (pesticides/herbicides) and fertilizers, as instructed by the farm manager.
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain specialized farm machinery such as tractors, harvest and standard per training and guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
None requires.
Experience:
24 months of experience in the occupation or as a tractor driver.
Special Requirements:
Must hold a valid Driver's license and possess sufficient English Language proficiency. Must have proven skills operation agricultural tractors. This position reports directly to the Farm Manager.
