Interested applicants should report to any State Workforce Agency (SWA) career center for help in contacting the employer. Referral by a career center provides program guarantees and protections that may not be available to a worker not referred. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. Workers referred to this job by a SWA should report to a career center between 5 and 9 work days before the job start date to verify the job start date is the same. Failure to do so may disqualify the worker from the assurances of this Job Order. Worksites are located in Miami-Dade County . Housing is located in Homestead, Florida ( Miami-Dade County). D.
Job Offer:
Nursery and greenhouse crop the worker will work in greenhouse facility planting, cultivating, harvesting, transplanting plants, spraying, weeding, fertilizing, trimming, and watering plants, using hand tools and gardening tools. The worker must understand greenhouse quality control standards and have working knowledge of production procedures. Must harvest crops according to specific standards. Plants must be handled carefully to prevent/avoid damage. The worker will work in the production facility on the assembly line placing inserts or pots into trays on the conveyors, sticking plant cutting into medium, fixing plants that are missing in trays. Tag or label plants or pots. Load trays on wagons from conveyors, accompany tractors and wagons to the field where the worker will unload wagons and lay trays in the bed in with uniform spacing. Workers may operate tractors, transplanters, and flat filling equipment. Workers may take cuttings according to specifications. Stick cuttings and transplant liners by hand or mechanical planter. Workers may be required to pick up plants from the field for orders and load on to wagons, lay plants down for growing, move and space plants in the field. They may also be required to pick plants from wagons by variety for orders on loading dock and load on to delivery racks. The workers will move racks around the dock as needed or push racks onto trucks for delivery. Other job duties are as follows: Unload carts from returning trucks. Unload carts, pallets, boxes and supplies from trucks that are delivered to the farm. Perform cleaning and sanitation in production and dock areas as required. Perform bed preparation by cleaning, sweeping beds and putting down weed control before plants are put down. Perform general plant maintenance. Move, space, weed, trim, and cull plants. Workers will count, grade and inventory plants in beds. Workers may be required to dispose of unsaleable plants from time to time. Workers will go to the designated areas where unsaleable plants will be loaded onto wagons and sent to the disposal area. At the disposal area, workers may be assigned to separate plant material from plastic, and sort plastic for recycling or reuse. Plant material is accumulated there for decomposition. Plastic is accumulated and sorted for baling and recycling. On the loading dock, Workers will remove racks from trucks, unload plastic waste and sort accordingly. Workers will also be required to assemble racks for plants to be shipped on. Racks are custom built for each individual order and may vary in size. Workers may use powered tools or mallets in the assembly process. Workers may clean/maintain greenhouse buildings, structures, equipment, and work areas. And assist with greenhouse maintenance and repairs. Greenhouse workers will also assist in preparing the ground by leveling and removing old ground cover cloth and replacing with new cloth to place plants. Remove and apply shade cloth or plastic to greenhouses. Repair and install irrigation pipes and equipment. Workers may also apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other crop protectants. Mix and apply fertilizers, plant growth chemicals, and other plant related treatments at the correct time depending on plant type, growth, climate, and crop conditions. Cover and uncover plants with Frost/Freeze protection fabrics. Workers will be exposed and not limited to moderate loud noises & outdoor weather. May drive workers to and from housing to worksites and to grocery store once a week.
Pay:
Florida Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) - $14.00 per hour ¾ Guarantee is in effect.

Withholding:
Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is September 7, 2026 to November 15, 2026.

51 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Saturday 8.5 hours per day . Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G. Housing and Board.

Holiday Motel:
The employer will offer three meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and will charge the workers $16.78 per day ($117.46 per week). Subject to change with the publication of new rates by the OFLC in the Federal Register. Workers will be receiving their meals from Velasco's (12 workers). Workers will stop at Holiday Motel (In Front) every morning for breakfast and lunch. Dinner will be delivered to Holiday Motel (In Front). When workers are not working, it is the responsibility of the employer to offer workers three meals per day. Free transportation in an approved vehicle will be provided at least once each week for the workers to purchase nonperishable food items at the grocery store if workers choose to do so. Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer's job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer's H-2A workers. This does not relieve the employer from providing to H-2A workers at least the same level of minimum benefits, wages, and working conditions which must be offered to U.S. workers. I.
