Job Description

About the Role The Plant Nursery Worker keeps our growing operation healthy and humming day to day. You'll work alongside the Nursery Manager caring for hundreds of young trees and getting them ready to go out to workshops and online orders. It's hands-on, plant-filled work — a great fit if you like plants, take pride in doing things carefully, and want to learn the craft of growing bonsai. No bonsai experience needed; we'll train you. What You'll Do Water, feed, and care for nursery stock following the established routine. Pot trees under the Nursery Manager's direction, in a timely manner, with the potential to earn quota bonuses. Watch for and report pests, disease, and stressed plants early. Prepare trees for shipping — cleaning, tagging, wrapping, and packing them safely. Help with inventory counts and keep records accurate. Keep work areas, tools, and growing spaces clean and organized. What You'll Bring Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with repetitive hands-on tasks done well and efficiently. A motivated, pro-active self starter who is comfortable at taking direction while also able to work independently in a focused, fast paced environment. Genuine interest in plants and a willingness to learn. Able to handle the physical side: standing, bending, lifting, and working with soil and water all day. A reliable team player who communicates clearly. Gardening, greenhouse, nursery, or houseplant experience. A driver's license & access to a reliable vehicle
