This is an Agricultural Labor Program clearance order for temporary or seasonal agricultural workers.

Interested applicants should report to any State Workforce Agency (SWA) career center for help in contacting the employer. Referral by a career center provides program guarantees and protections that may not be available to a worker not referred. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. Workers referred to this job by a SWA should report to a career center between 5 and 9 work days before the job start date to verify the job start date is the same. Failure to do so may disqualify the worker from the assurances of this Job Order. Worksites are located in Collier and Hendry Counties. Housing is located in Labelle, Florida (Hendry and Glades Counties). D.
Job Offer:
Workers will perform described job specifications as instructed by the Farm Manager or Crew Supervisor. Duties may vary from time to time and may include one or more of the following job specifications:
Harvesting Citrus:
Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Duties may vary from time to time. Following the Supervisors instructions, the worker will place a picking sack over their shoulder and carry an 18' to 20' ladder from the field truck to the area of the grove to be harvested. The picking sack is a canvas bag equipped with a shoulder strap for support, an opening for the insertion of fruit, and an opening to remove fruit. A fully loaded sack weighs between approximately 80 and 100 pounds, depending upon the size, condition, and variety of fruit. Worker positions ladder against the tree and within reach of the fruit in a leaning position, taking care not to break limbs, damage the tree, knock off fruit, or interfere with other workers, in a secure position to prevent slipping or falling and possible injury to themselves or other workers. Worker will remove fruit from the tree and place into pick sack. When pick sack is full, take full sack to fruit tub located in the grove and drop fruit from pick sack into tub. In order to perform this kind of work, worker must be able to work outside for at least 6 hours a day in all kinds of weather and be in possession of the requisite physical strength and endurance to repeat the picking process rapidly, working quickly and skillfully with their hands, and carrying a large number of sacks of fruit from the area in which the fruit is being harvested to the location of the tub.
Grove Clean-up/General Farm Work:
Workers may be required to perform miscellaneous grove clean- up work. These activities include pruning, painting trees, repair and or replace irrigation equipment, removal of debris, and other general grove clean-up work as required. Workers performing grove clean- up work will be paid the adverse effect wage rate, the prevailing rate or the minimum wage rate whichever is higher. Workers may need to assist in the use of farm equipment such as tractors, trucks and harvesting machinery, etc. Workers may also help with applying the new citrus greening treatment via trunk injections. The worker will place an arbor plug into each hole for proper seal with an arbor plug seter, and a rubber hammer. Workers will also do irrigation maintenance which includes changing out microjets and fixing breaks in the line.
Strawberry:
Runner Cutting/Trimming:
Workers will walk down row as instructed and cut/trim runners, leaves, and blooms as directed from each strawberry plant as necessary.
Freeze Protection Activities:
May assist regardless of time of day, in keeping overhead irrigation rain birds free of ice during freezing weather. Assist in
Plastic Laying:
Workers will hold plastic at end of row as machine moves down row unrolling plastic. Workers will even up ends of row with a shovel to make them straight, also will clean out ditches at end of row. Unload plastic and drip-tape from truck and load plastic and drip-tape on field machine as needed. May be instructed to remove or reinstall rain bird.
Drip-tape Hook Up:
Workers will be required to cut drip-tape at end of bed as instructed and hook up drip-tape to main water line.
Strawberry Planting:
While carrying a bag of strawberry plants, workers will walk down row, while bending, and place one or two plants into each hole in the plastic as instructed and firm dirt around plant.
Weeding:
Workers will remove weeds by use of a hoe from the walkway and remove all weeds growing around plants by hand. Workers will remove weeds from the growing area, by raking piles of debris and dispose of it as instructed.
Pay:
Florida Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) - $14.00 per hour ¾ Guarantee is in effect.

$14.00 per hour

None Pay is: Weekly Employer provides tools/equipment.
Withholding:
Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is August 10, 2026 to May 30, 2027 .
Hours:
36 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Saturday 6 hours per day . Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G. Housing and Board.
Housing:
Will provide free housing for workers who arrive from outside daily commuting distance. Family housing is not available. Meals (Board): The employer will provide free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and free weekly transportation to the grocery store to workers living in employer-provided housing which will enable workers to prepare their own meals. Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer's job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer's H-2A workers. This does not relieve the employer from providing to H-2A workers at least the same level of minimum benefits, wages, and working conditions which must be offered to U.S. workers. I.
