The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of irrigation systems, lawn care, and landscape maintenance practices. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for commercial properties. Candidates with mechanical knowledge, experience with hand tools, power tools, trenchers, controllers, battery clocks, wire trackers are highly valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about horticulture and landscaping to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip lines, and controllers Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks or malfunctions in irrigation equipment Utilize hand tools, power tools, and excavators to perform installation and repair tasks. Operate construction equipment safely during system installation or upgrades Troubleshoot mechanical issues within irrigation systems using technical knowledge Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure seamless integration of irrigation with overall landscape design Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project Follow safety protocols related to construction, horticulture, and equipment operation Experience Prior experience in irrigation installation or repair is required. Knowledge of landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture practices is advantageous Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators, and construction equipment is beneficial Experience working with mechanical systems related to landscaping or horticulture is a plus Strong understanding of landscape design principles and irrigation system components Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards Requirements 2+ years of Irrigation Experience Valid FL driver's license Knowledge of irrigation wiring and wire tracking Organizational skills Problem solver with the ability to foresee and detect potential inadequacies in the irrigation system Ability to handle the physical conditions of the job Great customer service skills This role is ideal for individuals eager to expand their expertise in landscape maintenance and irrigation technology within a professional setting.
