StaffBuildersHR is hiring an Irrigation Technician for a family-owned landscape maintenance and installation company in Tampa, FL . This role supports commercial and residential HOA properties and is ideal for someone with strong hands-on irrigation experience who can install, troubleshoot, and repair systems independently. This is a great opportunity for a dependable technician who wants steady hours, competitive pay, and room to grow with an established team. Pay and Schedule $23.00-$28.00 per hour , depending on experience Monday-Thursday, 6:15 AM-5:00 PM Occasional Fridays for overtime Benefits Weekly pay No fees Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance PTO Paid holidays Advancement opportunities Supportive, family-owned company culture What You'll Do Install, maintain, and repair traditional and 2-wire irrigation systems Service irrigation components including sprinklers, drip lines, valves, and controllers Inspect systems and identify issues such as leaks, clogs, wiring problems, and controller malfunctions Troubleshoot irrigation issues and complete repairs in a timely manner Program irrigation controllers based on landscape needs, weather conditions, and water conservation best practices Work alongside landscaping teams to ensure irrigation systems are properly integrated with plantings and hardscapes Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service activity Recommend water-efficient improvements and upgrades to clients when appropriate What We're Looking For Prior experience working on irrigation systems for large commercial and HOA accounts Hands-on experience installing and repairing 2-wire irrigation systems Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Basic computer skills, ability to input information into Ipad Strong organization and multitasking skills Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset Self-starter who is motivated to learn and grow Preferred Candidate Profile You may be a strong fit if you have experience as an irrigation technician, sprinkler technician, irrigation service technician, or landscape irrigation specialist working on commercial routes, HOA communities, or large residential properties.
