Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform necessary adjustments or replacements. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and general landscaping to support healthy growth Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues within irrigation and landscape systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and parts used for each project or service call. Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects to ensure timely completion while adhering to safety standards. Requirements Proven experience working as an irrigation technician or in landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of irrigation systems. Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, pumps, valves, and electrical components used in irrigation setups. Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscaping techniques, and horticultural principles. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints related to irrigation layouts and landscape plans. Knowledge of safety procedures when operating machinery and handling construction materials.
