Job Description

Overview Looking for a Farmhand for our broiler farm. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a agricultural environment, supporting a variety of farming activities that promote sustainable and productive land management. As a Farmhand, you will be directly involved in animal care, equipment operation, and maintenance. We value motivated individuals eager to learn, grow their skills, and contribute to a thriving farm community. Responsibilities Assist with daily poultry operations Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and tools Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling of materials Ensure compliance with safety standards in all production activities and maintain a safe working environment Qualifications Proven experience working outdoors in agricultural or farming environments with a strong understanding of farm operations Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of agricultural machinery a plus but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently Knowledge of safety standards in farming operations and experience adhering to safety protocols Basic math skills for record keeping This paid position offers opportunities for hands-on learning across all facets of farm life while contributing to sustainable farming practices.
