Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage for various landscaping projects. Duties Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools for digging, building, and maintaining irrigation infrastructure. Collaborate with landscape teams to design effective irrigation solutions tailored to specific garden needs. Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding water usage and landscape maintenance. Provide recommendations for lawn care practices that enhance the health of the landscape. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during each project. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems effectively. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Ability to dig trenches and install piping for irrigation systems. Knowledge of best practices in lawn care and garden maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while following safety protocols. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
