Full-time/Part-time / Seasonal Call Jeff Longnecker to apply (515) 291-0836 or Twila Longnecker (515) 291-0801 Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Farm Hand to assist with cattle operations and farm maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with livestock and is skilled in operating farm equipment such as skid loaders, tractors, feed wagons and more. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to animal welfare, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Daily care and handling of cattle, including feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health Operate farm equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with feeding operations, manure handling, and pen or pasture maintenance Perform routine equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and cleaning Assist with cattle movement, sorting, loading/unloading, and other livestock-related tasks Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with general farm duties as needed, including fencing, repairs, and seasonal work Qualifications & Experience Prior experience working with cattle Proven ability to operate farm equipment such as skid loaders, tractors, and feed wagons. Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to perform routine maintenance Ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred. Work Environment Outdoor, physically demanding work in all weather conditions Exposure to livestock, machinery, dust, and uneven terrain Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience
