Responsibilities Operate a variety of farm machinery including tractors, loaders, trucks, and heavy equipment to support planting, spraying, harvesting, and livestock care activities Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as cattle handling, feeding, watering, and health monitoring to promote animal well-being Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting, moving supplies, and installing or repairing farm infrastructure using hand tools and power tools Ensure safety standards are maintained during all operations by adhering to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Supervise or assist with other team members in equipment operation or farm tasks as needed to promote efficient workflow Qualifications Proven experience operating agricultural machinery such as tractors, loaders, or other heavy equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on farm machinery Hands-on experience with animal care, livestock management, or animal husbandry practices Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production environments Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and use of hand tools or power tools safely Previous farm experience or outdoor work background demonstrating reliability and physical stamina Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to farming activities This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about agriculture who want to develop their skills in farm machinery operation, animal care, and equipment maintenance.
