Job Description
Manpower is hiring a Research Assistant worker for a top employer in Johnston, in their Greenhouse facility. Do you enjoy working with power tools, hand tools and cleaning equipment? Do you enjoy working in a strong safety culture? If so, don't wait, apply today! What's in it for you?
Convenience of daytime hours:
7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday with rotating weekend work every 6th week. Working in a research environment in a greenhouse. Great pay- $21.
Bonus Structure:
$500 paid after 6 months, $1,000 paid after 12 months. What is the job? Seeding, pollinating, transplanting and watering plants. Harvesting, tissue sampling, and data collection. Punch or cut and store small samples of plant tissue and delivery for laboratory analysis. Assisting with experiments, collecting data, and maintaining records. Working in a greenhouse/warehouse environment where it is warm. What should you bring to the job? High School Diploma. Science degree preferred or related experience in agriculture, horticulture molecular biology, etc. MS Office skills Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30lbs.
