We are hiring a Grain Agronomy Operations Attendant to join our team in Zearing, Iowa (approximately 30 miles NW of Ames). In this role you will be responsible for grain handling and plant maintenance at the location. This role is for you if you have: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Valid Driver's License. Class A CDL or ability to obtain. Pest Control Applicators License of grade 7-E would be beneficial.
What you will be doing:
Responsible for grain condition and facility inspections. Maintaining grain inventory moistures and temperatures of silos and tanks Loading and unloading of inventory. Responsible for inbound and outbound grain. Tend to grain spills; assist with keeping inside and outside work areas neat and orderly. Perform required preventative maintenance and reports on equipment. Delivery of products to customers purchased from location. Assist with chemical shed, anhydrous and dry fertilizer. Completing safety and other required reports.
