In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems that keep outdoor spaces vibrant and thriving. Your expertise will ensure efficient water use and optimal landscape health, making a tangible difference in the beauty and sustainability of our clients' properties. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in landscaping, horticulture, and construction while working with a variety of tools and equipment. Responsibilities Install new sprinkler and irrigation systems according to project specifications and industry standards Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing irrigation systems to ensure proper operation Troubleshoot and repair issues with sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and piping using hand tools and power tools Use excavation equipment such as excavators when necessary to access underground irrigation lines or prepare sites Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall landscape design Conduct system tests to verify coverage, efficiency, and water conservation goals Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system updates for each project Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of irrigation components, plumbing, and landscape systems Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general horticulture practices Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators Knowledge of irrigation installation techniques and troubleshooting procedures Ability to interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and landscape plans Familiarity with landscaping principles including horticulture best practices Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and system optimization Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into thriving landscapes!
