Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Farm Hand/Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining farm operations and operating heavy machinery. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure the smooth functioning of daily farm activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant farming environment where your skills directly contribute to sustainable agriculture. Responsibilities Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and heavy equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and harvesters, ensuring optimal performance through routine inspections and repairs. Assist with planting, cultivating, fertilizing, harvesting, and shipping crops. Perform equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and other maintenance skills to keep machinery in top condition. Supervise or assist with other team members in daily farm activities, fostering a collaborative work environment. Maintain detailed records of farm activities, and equipment maintenance logs. Experience Previous experience working on a farm or in agriculture is highly preferred. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating farm machinery and heavy equipment. Experience with welding, equipment repair, and general maintenance tasks is advantageous. Supervisory experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are valued for team collaboration. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking is essential. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
