In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of outdoor activities, including planting, harvesting, equipment operation, and maintenance. Your energetic approach and attention to safety standards will contribute to a productive and sustainable farm environment. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in agriculture while supporting the growth of our farm operations. Responsibilities Maintain a Class A CDL or be willing to get it. Operate heavy machinery and farm equipment such as tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and forklifts safely and efficiently. Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops in accordance with best horticultural practices. Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge. Ensure compliance with safety standards in all production activities while handling heavy lifting tasks and manual labor outdoors. Collaborate with team members on daily farm tasks to ensure smooth workflow and safety protocols are followed. Experience Proven experience working outdoors in farming or agricultural environments. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors, or other farm machinery. Skills in equipment repair, mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and general maintenance of agricultural machinery. Familiarity with crop growing processes. Ability to perform manual handling tasks requiring heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feeding schedules.
