The General Farm Laborer will perform agricultural services including field preparation, removing rocks and volunteer corn/rogueing hoeing weed from seed corn production fields, bagging, seed conditioning, harvesting, husking, sorting, and drying seed, sweeping, cleaning, organizing of work area and farm bins, some light mechanical/repair work on field equipment and seed storage buildings, tractor/ farm related equipment operating, possible unloading or loading of trucks, general maintenance duties related to farm. Workers must possess the physical strength and endurance for repetitive tasks such as being able to walk, bend, stoop and carry from 70-90 lbs. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, ability to get along with other workers. Knowing how to use the tools and equipment required. Clean workplace and equipment as required.
