Automated Seed Bagging Operator Do you enjoy keeping automated lines humming and quality on point? If you're computer-savvy, hands-on, and reliable, this role puts you at the final step of sending high-quality seed corn to growers.

Shift:
Day shift; seasonal 2nd-shift coverage during Oct-Nov preferred but flexible (strong day-only candidates can still be hired) What You'll Do Run an automated paper-bag filling machine that fills 50 lb bags of seed corn Operate via computer controls/HMI to start, monitor, and adjust equipment Watch weights, labels, bag integrity, and product flow; troubleshoot and clear jams Maintain finished-product quality and catch issues before shipment Lift, move, and stage materials and bags (minimum 60 lbs) Keep the packaging room clean, organized, and safe; follow PPE and safety procedures (dust masks provided) Support adjacent operations as part of a team Must-Haves High school diploma or GED Comfort with automated machinery and basic computer interfaces Ability to lift at least 60 lbs Experience sweet spot: seed packaging; next best: automated packaging in other industries Reliable attendance and willingness to learn Able to work in an environment with seed dust and pollen (PPE provided) Work Environment Seed production plant / packaging room Standing, repetitive handling, lifting (minimum 60 lbs) Exposure to dust and pollen; PPE provided Compensation & Perks $19-$20/hour DOE (potential to be higher) Health, dental, disability, and 401(k) $150 annual clothing allowance Paid company team-building/outing days Seasonal overtime during peak production Full benefit details shared with qualified candidates during screening
