A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred Must be at least 18 year of age Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials. Cleans, loads, and unload trucks. Dumps grain and/or loads railcars or trucks, cleans up grain spills. Completes all paperwork accurately, timely, and in accordance with requirements. Maintains continuous inventory on grains and checks grain quality and/or condition of grain. Performs or directs routine maintenance and repair on equipment.Responsible for receiving, producing, processing, mixing, loading, unloading and delivery of all products and following directions accurately. Ensures good inventory control and product quality by conducting monthly inventory, monitoring product temperature and moisture, keeping work area clean along with completing proper paperwork. Responsible for inspecting, operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment and the facilities as qualified and coordinates with qualified technician to perform the needed tasks. Complies with all required local state and federal laws, safety, codes, regulations, and all other activities.
