Life:

As part of the Microbiology Division team, you will help our customers find solutions and workflows for food, clinical and pharmaceutical environments.

You will be responsible for:

Feeding animals daily and provide care as needed. Setting up equipment for bleeding, maneuver animals into shoots, bleed animals as needed, and clean area thoroughly. Assisting with general farm upkeep of fence lines, drainage ditches, lawn, house/farm repairs including minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Providing basic feed and upkeep for animals on a weekend rotation basis. Operating company vehicles and machinery such as tractors, truck and loader. Checking farm for safety and security as needed. Using hand-held machinery, such as grinder, drill and weed eater for routine farm upkeep. Reporting any actual or potential safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management. Keys to

Success:

Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Basic exposure to hand tools and equipment from a farming environment. 2 years of related farm experience or equivalent experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Possess basic knowledge of English, math and the ability to read. Possess good mechanical proficiency. Ability walk up to 2 hours a day. Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day Lift up to 25 pounds.
