Job Description

Job Summary Hope Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining a working ranch, and have a passion for horses, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Daily horse care and ranch maintenance Daily chores including feeding, mucking stalls, and putting out hay in pastures. Operate heavy equipment such as tractors and other farm machinery safely Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on farm equipment and machinery using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge. Handle manual tasks such as fencing repairs and general farm maintenance including mowing, weed whacking, and brush clearing. Maintain facility and arena upkeep Assisting with colt starting and horse training as needed Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Comfortable handling and riding horses Experience operating tractors and ranch equipment Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills Physically able to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Experience starting young horses Welding experience Equipment maintenance or repair experience
