Year-round guaranteed salary Company truck you can take home Autonomy to manage your own day Clear, documented career path with room to grow Seasonal variety with a busy irrigation season and steady off-season work Family-owned company that values people, not just production Leadership that listens, supports, and invests in you What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties Perform seasonal start-ups and shut-downs during peak irrigation seasons Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding irrigation services and recommendations, including in-person and phone conversations as well as written visit recap emails following service visits Manage your daily schedule while coordinating with the office team to meet service and scheduling expectations Assist with irrigation installs, system improvements, and upgrades as needed Support seasonal workload demands, including longer days during start-up and shut-down periods Participate in winter operations such as snow removal and related seasonal services Handle tools, materials, and parts efficiently and accurately Maintain service notes, documentation, and job records Most days include irrigation repairs, system troubleshooting, customer communication, and independent field work with team support. Workload increases during peak irrigation seasons and balances out with steady winter work. What We're Looking For Required Hands-on experience servicing and repairing irrigation systems Self-starter who can manage time and workload independently Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams Detail-oriented and organized with job documentation and materials Willingness to work Saturdays during peak seasons, especially start-up and shut-down Willingness to assist with snow removal during winter months Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred (Not Required) Irrigation certification or backflow experience, or willingness to obtain Experience with irrigation installs and system upgrades Familiarity with Kansas City irrigation systems and seasonal needs Physical Demands & Work Environment Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions Increased physical demands and hours during peak irrigation seasons Frequent driving throughout the Kansas City area Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally Regular walking, standing, bending, and use of hand tools Pay & Benefits $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience Company vehicle provided, take-home truck IRA with 3% company match Health insurance options available Tuition reimbursement and additional benefits based on experience How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
