The Basics Location:

Wichita, KS Compensation:

$23.00/hr and up

Days/Hours:

This job will be 2nd shift, 2:30pm-11:30pm, Mon-Thu and 2pm to 6pm on Fri with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Equipment Used:

Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled:

Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks. Requirements to be successful in this position: Able to travel to Great Bend KS, Scott City KS, Healy KS, Cherryvale KS and Towner CO to assist with train activities, housekeeping and other projects, as needed High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English Available to work overtime and weekends Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications) Able to pass a criminal background check Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: This job can be physically strenuous You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces You will work at heights You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders You will be required to wear
