Castor Position:
Farm Labor / Egg Collector (Hourly) Qualifications Reliable and motivated individuals encouraged to apply Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Must adhere to Biosecurity & Animal Welfare requirements (training provided) Reliable transportation to the work site is required Benefits Training provided for selected candidates Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and 401(k) All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided Responsibilities Typical start time: 8:00 AM Typical end time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Weekdays and weekends required
Primary Duties Include:
Collecting, cleaning, and sorting eggs according to quality standards Ensuring product quality Completing required paperwork and maintaining detailed production logs Performing routine cleaning and sanitation throughout the breeder farm Checking barns and monitoring egg conditions Supporting general farm duties as needed during scheduled shifts Ensuring compliance with animal health, welfare, safety, and quality standards Performing other duties as assigned
