Irrigation Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to build, dig, and maintain various irrigation setups. This role involves working outdoors and requires mechanical knowledge to effectively install and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Hourly wage will be based on experience. Work week will be Monday through Thursday from 7am-5pm. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, ensuring optimal functionality. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape designs. Dig trenches for pipe installation and ensure proper placement of irrigation components. Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and system usage. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance and lawn care is a must. Irrigation Association Certification is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is essential. Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. Experience in building and digging for irrigation installations. A keen understanding of how to irrigate gardens effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to drive a trailer.
