General Manager Position Summary Green Gold Group is seeking a Field & Irrigation Technician to support daily cultivation operations in our indoor cultivation facility. This position is responsible for monitoring/programing/troubleshooting irrigation systems, environmental conditions, plant performance, and facility operations. The technician will work directly with the General Manager to identify issues, collect and review data, troubleshoot problems, and help ensure cultivation standards are maintained throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of making sound judgments based on environmental conditions, irrigation performance, and plant health. Responsibilities Monitor irrigation and fertigation systems. Conduct daily room inspections and facility walkthroughs. Monitor plant health, irrigation performance, substrate moisture levels, and EC. Collect and record environmental and cultivation data. Identify environmental, irrigation, equipment, and cultivation issues. Troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions. Review environmental trends and identify potential risks. Report issues, concerns, and recommendations to management. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Assist with SOP compliance and operational projects. Communicate findings clearly and professionally Experience in cultivation, irrigation, agriculture, horticulture, greenhouse operations, maintenance, or a related field preferred. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze information and make practical recommendations. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Comfortable using spreadsheets, software platforms, and data collection systems. Ability to work in a cultivation environment and perform physical tasks as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Expectations Identify problems before they become larger issues. Use sound judgment when evaluating environmental and irrigation conditions. Investigate potential causes of issues and provide recommendations. Keep management informed of findings and concerns. All significant environmental, irrigation, cultivation, or operational changes must be approved by the General Manager before implementation.
