Stettler Supply Company is hiring a Mechanical Irrigation Service Technician in Salem, Oregon. The Mechanical Irrigation Service Technician is a mid-level role responsible for leading small installation crews, troubleshooting systems, and performing technical field repairs. This position requires hands-on experience with irrigation components, electrical systems, and pump equipment, while also supporting and mentoring entry-level technicians.

Essential Functions:

• Lead small crews in installing and servicing irrigation systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues in pivots, pumps, and filtration units
• Perform pipe fusion, wiring, control panel installation, and system programming
• Communicate with customers on repairs, recommendations, and timelines
• Maintain safety and quality standards on job sites
• Complete accurate service records, notes, and photos
• Train and support Level 1 technicians

Occasional Requirements:

• Assist with emergency repairs (evenings/weekends)
• Support project planning with sales and management teams
• Assist with trade shows or customer training events

Qualifications:

• 2'4 years of irrigation or related service experience
• Strong understanding of agricultural water systems
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Sales experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 75 lbs
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and confined space work
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
