In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and optimizing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use and lush greenery. Your expertise will help promote sustainable landscaping practices while delivering top-notch lawn care and landscape maintenance services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in horticulture and landscape management. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair various irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, controllers, valves, and pumps Conduct regular inspections of irrigation infrastructure to identify leaks, blockages, or malfunctions Perform electrical diagnostics on irrigation equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance Adjust watering schedules based on soil science data, weather patterns, and landscape needs to optimize water efficiency Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for system installation or repairs Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and soil management Collaborate with horticulture specialists to develop irrigation plans that support healthy plant growth and sustainable landscaping practices Experience Proven experience working with irrigation systems, including installation and maintenance Mechanical knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems related to irrigation equipment Familiarity with soil science principles to inform watering strategies and landscape health Construction experience or hands-on work with heavy machinery like excavators is a plus Knowledge of landscaping techniques, lawn care practices, and general horticulture principles Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various outdoor environments Prior experience in landscape maintenance or land management roles is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise makes a tangible difference in creating beautiful, sustainable landscapes!
