Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for installing, testing and irrigation and sprinkler applications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the installation of new irrigation systems Ensures all systems work according to installation standards by performing all required testing Operates and monitors timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers Provides repairs to irrigation systems as required Assists in various irrigation maintenance activities as required Provides winterization of irrigation systems as needed Assists landscaping crews with installation as needed Oversees all irrigation related work tickets and ensures completion in accordance with the schedule Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Position may perform other duties as assigned Requirements
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year landscape industry experience preferred, not required Irrigation experience preferred
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Certifications as required by the state Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to perform all aspects of landscape tasks in a safe manner Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks

Outdoor conditions Extended work hours during peak seasons Requires substantial physical activity performing strenuous activities of a productive and technical nature; regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; consistent exposure to loud noise; potential exposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful naturally occurring hazards; continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects
