Job Description
Overview Healthy Analytic lab is seeking junior level Laboratory chemist/technician for a ISO accredited state licensed cannabis testing safety compliance facility in Michigan providing the testing services including Potency, Pesticides & Mycotoxins, Heavy Metals, Terpenes, Residual Solvent Analysis, Microbial testing etc. for growers and processors. Analytical methods currently include HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, ICP-MS, and PCR techniques for testing services. Experience in the Cannabis industry is encouraged but not necessary.
Description of duties and responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory techniques such as sample preparation and data collection & analysis on samples as defined in the laboratory standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, and observations collaborating and assisting with senior team members.
- Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure that all supplies are viable for use in testing.
- Learns and maintains compliance with safety and all applicable legal requirements, standards, and procedures including compliance and state of Michigan CRA Guidelines.
- Responsible for always following the appropriate safety procedures and disposing of waste properly.
