Job Description

Overview Healthy Analytic lab is seeking junior level Laboratory chemist/technician for a ISO accredited state licensed cannabis testing safety compliance facility in Michigan providing the testing services including Potency, Pesticides & Mycotoxins, Heavy Metals, Terpenes, Residual Solvent Analysis, Microbial testing etc. for growers and processors. Analytical methods currently include HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, ICP-MS, and PCR techniques for testing services. Experience in the Cannabis industry is encouraged but not necessary.
Description of duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory techniques such as sample preparation and data collection & analysis on samples as defined in the laboratory standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, and observations collaborating and assisting with senior team members.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure that all supplies are viable for use in testing.
  • Learns and maintains compliance with safety and all applicable legal requirements, standards, and procedures including compliance and state of Michigan CRA Guidelines.
  • Responsible for always following the appropriate safety procedures and disposing of waste properly.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor's degree in a related field (chemistry or biological sciences) with 1-2 years of experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques
Job Type:
Full-time- and varying shift schedules Pay will depend on level of experience.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
