Duties Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting plants using proper techniques to promote healthy growth. Manage irrigation systems to ensure consistent moisture levels tailored to each plant's needs. Monitor plant health daily by identifying pests, diseases, or deficiencies through accurate plant identification skills. Maintain greenhouse conditions including temperature, humidity, and lighting to optimize plant development. Use hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge to support routine maintenance of cultivation equipment and infrastructure. Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care, landscaping, and soil preparation to keep growing areas tidy and functional. Record detailed data on plant progress, environmental conditions, and cultivation activities using basic math for measurements and adjustments. Experience Previous growing experience in horticulture, farming, or landscaping environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with greenhouse operations and outdoor cultivation practices enhances performance in this role. Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, land management tools, and gardening equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of plant identification techniques helps ensure proper care for diverse species. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working outdoors or in greenhouse settings is essential. Strong understanding of basic math concepts supports accurate measurements and record keeping.
