Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Processing Technician and Preroll Specialist is responsible for the helping in extraction and production of high-quality rosin as well as the creation of premium cannabis prerolls and hash holes.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1.
Extraction:
- Operate and maintain rosin equipment to extract high-quality rosin from cannabis flower.
- Monitor and adjust extraction parameters to optimize yield and quality.
- Perform quality control checks on extracted rosin to ensure consistency and potency.
- Document extraction processes and maintain accurate records of yields and inputs. 2.
Preroll Production:
- Weigh and grind cannabis flower for preroll production.
- Hand-roll or operate preroll machines to create consistent and high-quality prerolls.
- Conduct quality checks on prerolls to ensure uniformity and adherence to company standards.
- Accurately package and label prerolls for distribution. 3.
Compliance:
- Ensure all rosin and preroll products meet state regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all extracted and packaged products.
- Participate in inventory audits and assist with inventory management. 4.
Safety and Sanitation:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Sanitize and maintain equipment, tools, and workspaces to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in cannabis extraction, processing, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of state regulations and compliance requirements for cannabis products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate weighing and measurement of products.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for operating extraction equipment and assembling prerolls.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., humidity, temperature).
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, with potential for weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
