Job Description

Cannabis Cultivator Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Cultivator to join our cultivation team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all stages of the cannabis plant lifecycle, from propagation and vegetative growth through flowering and harvest. The ideal candidate is passionate about plant cultivation, committed to maintaining high-quality standards, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform daily plant care tasks, including topping, pruning, defoliation, transplanting, trellising, and irrigation. Monitor plant health and identify potential issues related to pests, diseases, environmental conditions, or nutrient deficiencies. Follow cultivation schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent plant growth and production. Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary cultivation rooms, equipment, and tools. Support harvest activities, including cutting, hanging, trimming preparation, and bucking plants. Accurately document cultivation activities and communicate observations to supervisors. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and applicable cannabis regulations. Collaborate with cultivation and post-harvest teams to achieve production goals and quality standards. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, greenhouse operations, horticulture, agriculture, or plant care is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in warm, humid environments. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Preferred Skills Knowledge of cannabis cultivation practices and plant biology. Experience with integrated pest management (IPM) and cultivation sanitation protocols. Familiarity with environmental controls, irrigation systems, and nutrient management, and basic plant knowledge. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Schedule & Benefits Full-time position. Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday schedules available. Health insurance eligibility after 90 days. $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
