The base hiring pay for this role is $20.50 per hour . Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions) Job Responsibilities Load poults on conveyer for servicing Confirm box number and flock numbers match Careful handling of poults and attention to poult density Stack Poult filled boxes Transfer to holding room Understand and meet the hatchery sanitation/biosecurity policies and procedures Perform all required equipment and work area clean up Occasional work on Saturdays or Holidays Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Ability to work a 10 to 12 hour shift Basic math skills Ability to grasp and pinch repeatedly with both hands, hand coordination to rotate wrists and manipulate poults with fingers and thumb of both hands Be able to work in a moderately dusty environment continuously Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
