In this energetic role, you will support the cultivation process from seedling to harvest, ensuring optimal plant health and productivity. Your hands-on expertise will help maintain a thriving cultivation environment, whether in greenhouse or outdoor settings, while adhering to strict safety and operational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture and crop production within a fast-paced, innovative industry. Responsibilities Assist with planting, transplanting, pruning, and trimming cannabis plants to promote healthy growth and maximize yields Monitor plant health daily, identifying signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies and implementing appropriate integrated pest management strategies Manage irrigation systems and ensure proper watering schedules using irrigation management techniques to optimize water use efficiency Maintain indoor cultivation areas by cleaning tools, managing plant spacing, and supporting environmental controls such as temperature and humidity regulation Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for crop handling, pest control, and harvesting to ensure quality standards are met consistently Support crop production activities including fertilization, watering, and harvesting preparations while maintaining accurate records of all cultivation processes Requirements Proven growing experience in cannabis or related horticultural fields with knowledge of greenhouse cultivation and outdoor farming practices Familiarity with agricultural environmental control systems such as climate regulation and irrigation systems Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, irrigation equipment, and basic gardening machinery is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Basic math skills for measurements, dosing fertilizers, and record keeping Experience managing horticultural teams or working collaboratively in a team environment is preferred Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to crop production and safety regulations in agricultural settings Embark on a rewarding journey in the cannabis industry by applying your horticultural expertise!
