We are an established commercial greenhouse operation near Neosho, Missouri looking to add dependable, hard-working employees to our team. This is a hands-on position involving plant care, watering, general greenhouse work, cleanup, moving materials, and other light to moderate physical labor. Some employees may also assist with basic greenhouse construction, maintenance, irrigation, and repair projects. Prior greenhouse experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. Reliability, attendance, willingness to work, and the ability to follow instructions are more important than previous greenhouse experience. Responsibilities Water plants accurately and thoroughly Move, organize, and handle plants and plant material Load and unload greenhouse supplies and materials Keep greenhouse and work areas clean and organized Assist with general maintenance and cleanup Help with greenhouse setup, repairs, irrigation, benches, plastic, and other projects as needed Use basic hand tools when trained Follow instructions and complete assigned work efficiently Work independently and as part of a team What We Are Looking For Dependable and punctual Reliable transportation to the Neosho area Comfortable working in warm and humid greenhouse conditions Able to perform light to moderate physical labor throughout the workday Able to lift approximately 40-50 pounds when needed Willing to learn and take direction Able to maintain a steady work pace without constant supervision Positive attitude and ability to work well with others Experience in agriculture, landscaping, construction, maintenance, farming, warehouse work, irrigation, or other physical labor is helpful but not required. Schedule Monday through Friday with some Saturdays depending on seasonality. Hours are typically 7 AM - 4 PM, depending on the season. Pay $17 per hour with room for growth.
