A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
Duties:
- Perform various tasks related to landscape maintenance, farming, and gardening
- Collect and record data on plant growth and health
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment used for irrigation and other tasks
- Use hand tools to perform manual labor, such as digging, planting, and pruning
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment or materials
- Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
Skills:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance, farming, or gardening practices
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Understanding of plant growth and care principles
