A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description

We are seeking 3 to 5 dedicated and skilled farm hands to join our team. If you are mechanically inclined, can work independently and are passionate about farming, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
Animal Care:
Vaccinate, brand, tag, feed cattle, and maintain water sources, especially in freezing conditions.
Grazing Management:
Support grazing programs to optimize pasture use.
Fencing & Security:
Build, maintain and repair barbed wire and cattle fencing, gates and corrals to ensure livestock safety and containment.
Land Maintenance:
Clear brush, trees, and debris to keep the farm safe and tidy.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform repairs and routine maintenance on farm machinery
Vehicle Maintenance:
Ensure farm vehicles are fueled, maintained and ready for daily operations.
Crop Production:
Assist in planting and harvesting crops like corn, hay, grass, and fescue.
Farmhand Management:
Help train and coordinate team members.
Other Duties:
Complete additional tasks as needed to support farm operations.
Bonus Skills:
Welding experience is a plus
Work Week:
50 hours plus
