Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Farm Hand to join our farming operation in North Central Montana. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating a wide range of farm machinery and supporting crop production activities. Duties Operate and maintain a variety of agricultural equipment Perform planting, spraying, harvesting, and other seasonal farming operations Conduct routine equipment maintenance and basic repairs Assist with general farm upkeep and daily operations Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for crops Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Qualifications Proven experience in farming or agricultural operations with hands-on knowledge of farm machinery and equipment repair Demonstrated ability to operate agricultural tractors, heavy equipment, forklifts, and other power tools safely and efficiently Strong mechanical knowledge related to agricultural machinery repair and maintenance procedures Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe working space for all team members Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining attention to safety protocols Excellent teamwork skills with supervisory experience considered an asset; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Valid driver's license Welding experience, truck driving experience, and irrigation system operation/maintenance are a plus!
