Irrigation Technician - 2 plus yrs

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across various outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help promote healthy lawns, gardens, and landscapes while supporting overall site aesthetics and sustainability. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip lines, and controllers to ensure efficient watering schedules. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation equipment and landscape areas to identify issues or potential failures. Perform maintenance tasks such as adjusting sprinkler heads, replacing damaged components, and calibrating timers for optimal performance. Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently during system installation or repairs. Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing irrigation systems to prepare landscapes for different weather conditions. Maintain records of schedulig and tracking of work orders thru ASPIRE. Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects involving hardscape installation or tree care to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on two-wire irrigation systems or related landscaping equipment. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery safely. Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and pruning for healthy growth. Experience with landscaping projects such as hardscape installation or garden design is a plus. Strong understanding of gardening practices and landscape aesthetics. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose system issues efficiently. Test irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of ASPIRE system is preferred but not required. $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
