Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic farming team as a Farm Worker and become a vital part of cultivating healthy crops and maintaining the overall farm environment. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors, engage with a variety of agricultural tasks, and contribute to sustainable farming practices. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in active settings and are eager to develop their skills in agriculture and equipment maintenance and operation. Duties Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other farm machinery safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including welding and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of farm infrastructure, and machinery. Follow safety procedures diligently during heavy lifting, equipment operation, welding, and maintenance tasks. Qualifications Prior supervising or team-leading experience in an agricultural or farm setting is preferred. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair or maintenance. Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools and hand tools, safely. Strong understanding of farming principles. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feeding schedules. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, heavy equipment operation, and general farm maintenance.
